Qatar participated as an observer in the 23rd session of the Assembly of States Parties to the International Criminal Court, which was held from 2 to 6 December in The Hague.
The Qatari delegation was headed by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Dr. Mutlaq bin Majid Al Qahtani.
The session centered on the importance of upholding the rule of law, criminal justice, and international cooperation, as well as addressing the challenges and pressures facing the International Criminal Court. Discussions also focused on international arrest warrants and the crucial need for their enforcement.
