The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has introduced a new digital platform as part of its Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Program, aimed at presenting investment opportunities available to the private sector and enhancing economic collaboration.
This initiative represents a strategic move to strengthen ties between public and private entities, aligning closely with Qatar’s national development objectives. The platform, developed by MoCI’s Business Development Department, acts as a unified digital resource, bringing together various investment projects from multiple sectors in one place.
Designed to improve accessibility and transparency, the platform enables private investors to easily discover and engage with PPP projects, helping them identify opportunities that contribute to Qatar’s socio-economic progress.
According to the Ministry, this tool will support private sector engagement by making it easier to access credible, government-aligned business ventures. It aims to serve as an essential hub for information, opportunity discovery, and decision-making, ensuring that private companies can align their investments with the country’s long-term strategic priorities.
The importance of public-private collaboration was emphasized through the Ministry’s official communication channels, where MoCI highlighted the vital role these partnerships play in achieving Qatar National Vision 2030.
Such partnerships are seen as key to promoting innovation, sustainability, and economic diversification, while also enhancing infrastructure, service quality, technological development, and human capital growth.
MoCI further reiterated its commitment to empowering the private sector, noting that the platform will help accelerate national development, foster transparency, and streamline access to available projects. The initiative is expected to enhance innovation in project execution and support a more dynamic investment ecosystem.
The platform is now operational and open to both investors and interested parties, with access provided via a QR code shared in the Ministry’s official announcements.
This launch forms part of Qatar’s broader push for digital transformation, improved governance, and a stronger PPP framework, all of which are central to the country’s long-term economic strategy.
