As part of its continued humanitarian commitment, the State of Qatar has dispatched 49 trucks carrying vital aid to the Gaza Strip through coordination with Egypt and Jordan.
The initiative is led by the Qatar Fund for Development in cooperation with Qatar Charity and Qatar Red Crescent. The aid will be delivered to the World Food Programme (WFP), which will oversee distribution through the Rafah and Kerem Shalom crossings.
Details of the aid include:
4,704 food parcels to support 4,704 families, reaching over 28,000 individuals
200 tons of food baskets, benefiting approximately 50,000 people
174 tons of flour for 43,000 beneficiaries
5,000 units of baby formula for infants and young children
This mission reflects Qatar’s ongoing support for the Palestinian people and its commitment to alleviating the humanitarian crisis in Gaza caused by ongoing restrictions and instability.
