Asian Men's Volleyball Championship
Qatar men's national volleyball team on Saturday came third in the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship in Iran after defeating China 3-0 (25 - 23, 25 - 19, 25 - 18) in the match to determine the third and fourth places.
Qatar team played good matches in the championship starting with the top of Group E, then reaching the quarter-finals after defeating Thailand before reaching the semi-finals by defeating Chinese Taipei, then losing in the semi-finals against Japan.
The Qatar national volleyball team has advanced to the 13th place in the world ranking which was updated by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) yesterday.
