Qatar University, Hassad Food Sign MOU to Train Students in Project Management
Qatar University has signed a memorandum of understanding with Hassad Food Company for joint cooperation in field training, research projects and applied sciences.
The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation in the field of scientific research and exchange of experiences, in addition to training a group of students at Qatar University in a number of companies affiliated with "Hassad" and introducing them to the importance of food security and the agricultural sector.
Under this cooperation, students will be given an opportunity to learn about the field of food and agricultural investment through practical experience, starting from agriculture to production and manufacturing processes.
On this occasion, President of Qatar University Dr. Hassan Rashid Al Derham said that one of the universitys goals is cooperation and partnership with the leading institutions in Qatar. He praised the great achievements of Hassad Food Company since its inception and the presence of Qatari youths who are able to manage large and successful projects in it. At the same time he noted that this memorandum is the beginning of partnerships and cooperation that will continue and evolve in the future.
For his part, CEO of Hassad Food Company Eng. Mohamed Badr Al Sadah expressed his happiness to cooperate with Qatar University in this important training program. Through it, the company will introduce the younger generations to the importance of the food and agricultural sector and encourage them to join it, in line with the companys strategy that includes supporting initiatives and activities that enhance the countrys food security efforts.
