Qatar to offer budget-friendly lodging choices for AFC Asian Cup guests

Doha, Qatar: The Local Organising Committee (LOC) announced plans to provide diverse and affordable accommodation options during the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023. 

Hassan Rabia Al Kuwari, Executive Director of Marketing and Communications at the LOC, highlighted the legacy of accommodation options from the FIFA World Cup and mentioned collaborations with Qatar Tourism for special offers. 

Agreements are underway to increase flights, especially from neighboring countries like Saudi Arabia. 

Abdulaziz Ali Al-Mawlawi, Head of the Tourism Marketing and Promotion Sector at Qatar Tourism, mentioned accompanying events and agreements with participating countries' federations to offer special packages for fans attending the tournament. 

The tournament, featuring 24 national teams, will run from January 12 to February 10, with tickets going on sale tomorrow, October 10, 2023.
