Salman Al Buainain, an expert in environment, asserted that Qatar’s waters boast unparalleled biodiversity and a diverse array of fish and colourful corals.

Preservation of marine life and coral reefs in the emerald sea, as Buainain pointed out, is not solely the responsibility of the government; it involves the active participation of society.

“Qatar’s marine treasures are a haven for visitors and nature enthusiasts, playing a crucial role in preserving biodiversity and the surrounding environment,” he said. “The exploration of the emerald sea and its islands reflects the country’s dedication to sustainable tourism and environmental consciousness.
