Qatar and Italy sign defence agreement
Qatar has signed a defence cooperation agreement with Italy to have the FIFA World Cup 2022 secured.
The agreement was signed by the defence ministries of the two countries.
The Qatari side was represented by HE Major General (Pilot) Mohammed Abdullatif Al Mannai, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the World Cup, while the Italian side was represented by Major General Achille Fernando Cosania, Commander of the Operations Department of the Italian Air Force.
