The Ministry of Labour in Qatar has officially announced the countdown to the implementation of regulated outdoor working hours during the summer season. In a notice shared on its social media platforms, the ministry stated that the restrictions will take effect from June 1, 2025, prohibiting outdoor work between 10:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
To support this initiative, the Occupational Safety and Health Department is conducting a month-long awareness campaign throughout May, focusing on the dangers of heat stress and promoting best practices for its prevention in the workplace.
