The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its air defense systems destroyed 90 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory during the night.
In a statement, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that 38 drones were downed over the Sea of Azov, 24 over the southern Russia region of Krasnodar, and 15 over the Crimean Peninsula.
The statement added that seven drones were destroyed over the Black Sea, two drones over the Kursk region, two drones over the Rostov region, one drone over the Bryansk region, and one drone over the Belgorod region.
Russia and Ukraine announce near-daily reports of downed drones, but verifying these claims is difficult due to the ongoing war since February 2022.
