Hayya card
Soon, Qatar will open two locations where ticket holders for the FIFA World Cup can collect their Hayya cards.
ABHA Arena and the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) in West Bay would house the Hayya Cards centers, according to Saeed Ali Al Kuwari, executive director of the Hayya platform at the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC).
He told Alkass TV that fans could visit one of the two locations to pick up a printed Hayya card.
Al Kuwari continued, "If a fan loses his card, he may also visit the center and acquire a replacement card without paying any extra fees."
The card also acts as a requirement for entry into the stadiums for visitors, Qatari nationals, and locals.
The Hayya card entitles its owner to free public transportation and will also let supporters participate in a number of competition-related events.
He urged the fans to apply for the cards as soon as possible. “We have been educating fans through media to not wait for the last moment to apply for Hayya card. Fans are very much dependent on Hayya card as it will serve them in many ways, including as a permit to entre the State of Qatar, access to the stadiums, and also match day travel among others.”
Hayya card would be considered an entry visa to Qatar from November 1 to December 23, 2022.
