Sheikh Joaan visited Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum

HE President of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani visited Wednesday Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum.

During the visit, His Excellency was briefed on the museum's holdings and toured its various halls, which included the history of sports in the world, the history of the Olympic Games, the best athletes in the world, the history of Qatari sports, and the important hosted tournaments.

HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani expressed his admiration for the museum, praising the efforts of Qatar Museums, headed by HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani, Chairperson of the Qatar Museums Board of Trustees.

The President of QOC was accompanied during the visit by HE Secretary-General of QOC Jassim bin Rashid Al Buainain, HE the Advisory President of the Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Thani, and Director of Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum Abdulla Yousef Al Mulla.
