Sheikh Joaan elected as First Vice President of Association of National Olympic Committees

The XXVI ANOC General Assembly today elected H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani was elected as Senior Vice President for 2022-2026, announced on their official twitter handle. Sheikh Joaan is also the President of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC).

President of the Oceania National Olympic Committees (ONOC) Robin Mitchell has been elected as President for 2022-2026.

The elections were conducted via secret ballot as per the ANOC Constitution with 184 National Olympic Committees in attendance. Both President Mitchell and Senior Vice President H.E. Sheikh Joaan was elected unopposed.
