International Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship
Aspire Zone Foundation has concluded the competitions of the fourth edition of the Sky Grace 2024 International Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, organized in collaboration with Sky Grace Academy.
The closing ceremony, attended by over 3,000 spectators, saw the crowning of the top three winners in various categories.
In the individual event final, Russian Maria Borisova won the gold medal with 32.550 points, while the gold in the senior clubs final went to Aliaksandra Harnasko from Belarus, who scored 32.700 points.
In the rope final, Maria Borisova clinched her second gold medal with 29.150 points.
In the ball final, Aliaksandra Harnasko secured her second gold medal with 31.500 points, before winning yet another gold in the individual hoop final with 33.000 points.
The championship also saw a Qatari triumph with player Fayrouz Wissam securing second place with 40.550 points, and Mehrin Maqsood taking third place with 39.000 points on the second day of the championship.
Chief Marketing Officer of Aspire Zone Foundation, Nasser Abdullah Al Hajri, emphasized the importance of the championship, noting that the success of "Sky Grace 2024" reflects the foundation's commitment to organizing world-class sports events and enhancing Qatar's status as an international sports hub.
Al Hajri stated that Aspire provided an ideal competitive environment that combines outstanding sports performance with a sophisticated artistic experience, clearly reflecting Qatar's position as a main supporter of rhythmic gymnastics globally.
He added that the 2024 edition witnessed wide participation from elite talented athletes, along with artistic performances inspired by Russian culture, which added a special touch to the championship and increased its appeal to the audience.
Al Hajri pointed out that At Aspire Zone Foundation aims not only to host major sports events but to achieve an integrated experience that combines sports excellence and innovation in organization, looking forward to the continued growth and development of the 'Sky Grace' championship, making it one of the foremost international tournaments that bring together the best talents in rhythmic gymnastics.
