Summer working hours in open spaces end today

The Ministry of Labour has announced the end to summer working hours in open spaces effective today, September 15, 2022.

The Ministry said the legal period for prohibiting morning work in open and shaded places that are not equipped with appropriate means of ventilation ends today in a statement on social media.

This comes following Ministerial Resolution No. 17 of 2021 regarding the necessary precautions to protect workers from the dangers of heat stress in the summer period.
