Surprises and Activities Await Visitors at Katara

Katara's Firework Display

The Cultural Village Foundation, Katara, has prepared several activities to celebrate Eid Al Fitr, which will continue for four days, starting with the firework display on the first day of Eid, May 2nd. 

In line with this special occasion, Katara will distribute gifts to children to bring them and their families pleasure and joy. Katara will be choosing the gifts depending on the age groups, taking into account suitable gifts for both boys and girls. 

During the festival, five Arab folk bands will be performing live on the Katara Corniche, representing the folklore of different cultures. 

At the Thuraya Planetarium in Katarafi Building 41, visitors can enjoy a series of entertainment and educational movies that will premiere on the second day of Eid Al Fitr until the last day. 

Among the films premiering are The 3D Polaris Show, Zula Patrol Show, and the Perfect Little Planet, to name a few.  

Katara was born out of a long-held vision to position the State of Qatar as a cultural beacon, a lighthouse of art, radiating in the Middle East through theatre, literature, music, visual art, conventions, and exhibitions.
