A slight decrease in temperature is expected from Friday until the middle of next week as fresh to strong northwesterly wind will gust up to 35 KT.Â
During this period, temperatures can hit as low as 13-21 degree Celsius in various regions of the country and apparent temperatures could be less than that due to northwesterly wind. Meanwhile, the highest temperature will range between 23-31 degree Celsius.Â
As the wind is forecast to blow in the northwesterly direction during the weekend, Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD), on its latest weather update stated that blowing dust and a decrease in horizontal visibility is also expected.Â
Horizontal visibility could fall to less than 2 kilometres over some areas and zero visibility sometimes, especially in open areas.Â

Due to this weather condition, QMD urged all citizens and residents to take precautions.
