Today is the start of the "Watan Exercise 2023"
Under the auspices of HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Minister of Interior and Commander of Lekhwiya Force, the "Watan Exercise 2023" is set to begin today, November 6, with the involvement of over 30 military and civilian organizations. The exercise will continue until November 8.
The primary objective of the Watan Exercise is to assess the preparedness, collaboration, coordination, and synergy among more than 30 military and civilian agencies participating in handling various scenarios, both in routine and emergency situations, as well as during national events and conferences hosted by the country.
The Exercise Organizing Committee encourages the public to support its efforts by heeding the guidance and directives provided by relevant authorities throughout the different phases of the exercise.
