The Dhareeba mobile application has been unveiled by the General Tax Authority
The General Tax Authority (GTA) officially introduced the "Dhareeba" app on December 5 as a step towards digital transformation. The launch, held at the GTA Headquarters, was attended by Mohamed Hassan Al Malki, Assistant Undersecretary for Commercial Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, along with several GTA personnel, aiming to enhance service quality and provide advanced digital connections between the Authority and taxpayers on a 24/7 basis.
The inauguration began with Ahmed bin Eisa Al Mohannadi, President of the General Tax Authority, delivering a speech. Al Mohannadi welcomed the guests and highlighted the significance of launching the “Dhareeba” application, which aligns with the directives of H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, emphasizing the nation's digital transformation.
Regarding the app's launch, Al Mohannadi mentioned, “The 'Dhareeba' application enhances the General Tax Authority's commitment to advancing the tax system by integrating innovative digital services that streamline tax processes with improved efficiency and transparency."
He added, “Users can track requests, access communication channels, and interact promptly with relevant GTA departments for inquiries and support."
Al Mohannadi concluded by expressing gratitude to the dedicated GTA team, acknowledging their efforts in achieving this milestone, which marks a significant enhancement in the Authority’s services and relationship with taxpayers.
The event included a comprehensive presentation on the “Dhareeba” app, outlining its features, functions, and essential services to the attendees.
