HH The Father Amir Equestrian Prix
The third round of the HH The Father Amir's Equestrian Prix, part of the Doha Equestrian Tour 2026, will begin on Thursday at Al Shaqab and will continue for three days, with the participation of some of the world's best riders.
The third round will be held across three arenas at Al Shaqab: the Longines Indoor Arena, the Longines Main Outdoor Arena, and Outdoor Arena 2, across the one-star, three-star, and five-star categories.
The competitions will begin tomorrow with the three-star category at the Longines Outdoor Arena at a height of 135 cm, followed by the one-star category at a height of 120 cm at the Indoor Arena, then the three-star category at a height of 125 cm at the Outdoor Arena 2, and finally the three-star category at a height of 140 cm at the Longines Outdoor Arena.
The outdoor arena will host the 1-star competition at a height of 110 cm, followed by the 5-star competition at 140 cm, also in the outdoor arena.
The local championship round will be held at a height of 60 cm in the indoor arena, and the first day's competition will conclude with the 5-star competition at 150 cm in the Longines outdoor arena.
The championship continues on Friday with nine rounds, beginning with the 1-star competition at 125 cm, followed by the 3-star competition at 130 cm, and then the 3-star competition at 140 cm.
The second day of competition features a qualifying round for Group 7 at a height of 125 cm, followed by a 3-star class at 145 cm, then a 1-star class at 115 cm, a 5-star class at 145 cm, and a local championship class at 80 cm. The day concludes with a 5-star class class at 155 cm, including a jump-off.
The third day of the third round, next Saturday, will feature competitions in the 3-star category at a height of 140 cm, the 1-star category at 120 cm, the 3-star category at 130 cm, followed by the 5-star category at 150 cm, and a local competition at 100 cm.
This will be followed by the 3-star category at 150 cm with a jump-off, then the Grand Prix competition for the 1-star category at 130 cm. The round will conclude with the Grand Prix competition for the 5-star category at 160 cm with a jump-off.
The HH the Father Amir's Equestrian Prix consists of four international rounds, ranging from 1-star to 5-star, in addition to competitions for junior and youth riders.
The fourth round is scheduled to take place from January 29th to 31st.
