Vehicle seized, driver apprehended for driving on wrong side of road

The General Directorate of Traffic has announced that it seized a vehicle and apprehended its driver for traffic violation. 

"With reference to the video clip circulating about a vehicle violating traffic, the Investigation Department of the Patrols and Traffic Investigation Department was able to seize the vehicle with its driver," said the Department on social media. 

Along with a statement, the Department also shared of photo of the vehicle which appeared to be driving on the wrong side of the road. 

It also affirmed that legal measures had been taken against the driver.
