According to the Qatar Calendar House, on the 23rd of October 2023, it was announced that during the early hours of Tuesday, the 24th of October 2023, Venus will achieve its maximum elongation from the Sun. This celestial event will enable Venus to be visible to the naked eye above the eastern horizon in the skies of Qatar.

It will be visible from its rise at 2:12 am until the early hours of Tuesday, the 24th of October 2023, reaching an altitude of 45.5 degrees above the horizon at sunrise.
