The Vice President of Gambia, Badara Alieu Joof has died of a short illness in India. This information was shared by President Adama Barrow.
Badara Alieu Joof, 65, was appointed vice president of the West African country in 2022. Previously, he served as the education minister from 2017 to 2022.
The saddening news was informed by The President via a tweet.
