Full moon
As we bid adieu to winter and embrace the advent of spring, the final full moon of the chilly season will grace the skies over Qatar and beyond starting Monday evening, March 25.
Typically, a year hosts 12 full moons, corresponding to each month. March's full moon earns the moniker "Worm Moon."
As per the US Naval Observatory, the March moon will reach its peak luminosity at 3 am EDT on March 25. This celestial spectacle, where the moon's surface is fully illuminated, traditionally heralds the arrival of spring for those residing in the Northern Hemisphere.
While the moon attains its full phase momentarily, its luminous presence will persist in lighting up the night sky for up to three days, as confirmed by the observatory.
