Action taken against network violating law on entry-exit of expatriates

The Search and Follow-up Department was able to intercept a network of people violating the law regulating the entry and exit of expatriates, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced on its Twitter handle.

The MoI said that the apprehension comes after reports of complaints from legal recruiters on workers running away from employers, as well as violations of the purpose of their residence.

16 household workers of Asian nationality employed by an individual of the same nationality have been referred to the Public Prosecution to complete the necessary legal procedures, added the statement.
