Bollywood Actor Saif Ali Khan Purchases Luxury Residence in Qatar

Bollywood actor and producer Saif Ali Khan has officially made Qatar his second home, following the purchase of a luxury residence in Doha. The announcement was made during a press conference in Mumbai hosted by the Alfardan Group, where Khan was introduced as a new homeowner at The Residences at The St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island, located in The Pearl-Qatar.

The decision comes months after a reported stabbing incident at Khan’s residence in Mumbai, with the actor highlighting safety as one of the main reasons behind his investment in Qatar.

“As someone who travels extensively and values luxury, The St. Regis Residences in Qatar felt like the perfect choice,” Khan shared. “It’s more than just a home — it’s a lifestyle destination. I’ve travelled around the world, but Qatar offers something truly special: peace, security, and refined modern living. Its proximity to India also makes it ideal for me and my family.”

Khan praised the unique concept of an island within an island, describing it as “luxurious, beautiful, and serene.” He emphasized the importance of the overall feeling a place offers — from scenic views and world-class dining to the relaxed pace of life.

Reflecting on a previous visit during a film shoot in Doha, Khan revealed that his experience staying at the property played a major role in his decision. “There was something about the blend of privacy and luxury that resonated with me. The curated menus, the atmosphere — it all felt like a home away from home,” he said.

With his new residence at The St. Regis, Saif Ali Khan joins a growing list of high-profile personalities choosing Qatar as their luxury living destination.
