ConteQ Expo 24 Focusing on Advanced Technology for Construction and Services Kicks Off at QNCC
The Advanced Technology for Construction and Services ConteQ Expo 2024, the first of its kind, begins today under the patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
This event is a collaborative initiative between four key government bodies: the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Labour, and the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), with NeXTfairs for Conferences and Exhibitions serving as the organizer.
Spanning three days, the exhibition aims to drive a technological transformation in the construction and services industries. It will redefine traditional innovation models as it welcomes visitors to the Qatar National Convention Center from September 16 to 18.
ConteQ Expo promises to set a high standard by showcasing cutting-edge technologies and solutions in construction and services. With 60 speakers and 250 exhibitors, the event will feature participation from leading global tech giants such as Google, Microsoft, Siemens, Huawei, and IBM.
The exhibition will include a series of panel discussions led by prominent speakers, covering topics like expanding modular construction, shaping the future workforce, enhancing productivity through digital and smart solutions, and the role of automation and AI in the future of construction, including 3D printing. Several workshops will also accompany these discussions.
Ahead of the event, Eng. Salim Mohammed Al Shawi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, emphasized that the expo marks a key milestone in Qatar’s technological advancement in construction and services. He noted that the event aligns with Qatar’s Third National Development Strategy 2024-2030 and Qatar National Vision 2030, especially in fostering innovation, digitization, and sustainable development in these vital sectors.
