The 2023-24 cruise season kicks off in Qatar today, marked by the inaugural arrival of the Crystal Symphony ship at the Old Doha Port Cruise Terminal.

Flagged by the Bahamas and owned by Crystal Cruises, Crystal Symphony brought 214 passengers and a crew of 475.
Constructed in 1995, this luxury liner stretches 238 meters in length, spans 30 meters in width, and has a draft of 8 meters.
As the cruise season gets underway, the country anticipates welcoming thousands of tourists. This season forecasts the docking of 81 cruises, with eight of these ships making their debut visit.
