Shabo
A drug known as "shabo" — a slang term for methamphetamine used in Japan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia — is the latest contraband to be seized by Qatar Customs in yet another foiled attempt to smuggle narcotic substances into the country.
The General Authority of Customs on Monday said its Air Cargo and Private Airports wing seized 499 grams of “shabo” stashed inside a shipment of stationery, including files.
