Student looking to practice diplomacy the real world, to practice your leadership skills, to connect with other change-makers? HDMUN II (Horizon Style Model United Nations) is coming to Dubai this July an experience like no other in debating, negotiating, and leading. This two-day Conference for Delegates will now also be hosted at the Global Indian International School (GIIS) here on July 5-6, 2025.

What Is HDMUN II?

HDMUN is a student-run conference that emulates the way in which the UN deliberates. Participants will assume the role of diplomats, debating in nine separate committees on the most pressing global issues — ranging from international peace and security to economic development and human rights.

This is not your standard competitive debate tournament; it is a Development Tournament with the purpose of providing young professionals with the time and space to collaboratively build key academic skills – teamwork, critical thinking, research, public speaking, and negotiation – all in a comfortable atmosphere.

What to Expect?

• Nine real-world challenges addressed by Specialized Committees

• Workshops on practical skill-building for diplomacy, research & communication

• Interactive exercises for drafting and negotiating the resolution
