Hamad Medical Corporation
Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) will commence tomorrow the new evening clinic system in the Ambulatory Care Center for specialties that are in high demand.
The clinics that will offer evening clinics include ophthalmology, ear, nose and throat, urology, and an audiology clinic. This service will allow patients to access specialized care faster, as more specialties will be added at a later stage in the coming weeks, according to HMC.
Deputy Chief of Quality for Center for Patient Experience and Staff Engagement and Director of Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute Nasser Al Naimi explained that the new evening clinics are scheduled to provide services during the next three months to more than ten thousand patients through 481 evening clinics, and their appointments for these clinics have been expedited.
Al Naimi indicated that to improve access to outpatient services for patients, an advanced methodology was applied to the system of managing referrals and booking appointments to reduce waiting times for appointments and improve the use of clinics in all HMC facilities. He added that more improvements are scheduled to be implemented that would facilitate access to healthcare.
Al Naimi called on patients to take advantage of the helpline 16060 for customer service Nesma'ak, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, whereby upcoming appointments can be managed at HMC facilities, whether by booking an appointment in advance, changing or canceling appointments.
