Labour Complaint via SMS to Ministry of Labor Hotline:

Qatar's Ministry of Labor has introduced an SMS service to facilitate communication with workers regarding their concerns. The hotline operates 24/7 and offers support in multiple languages.

To file a labour complaint via SMS, follow these steps:

  • Open your phone's SMS option.
  • Type '5' followed by your Qatar ID Number or Visa Number.
  • Labour Complaint via SMS to 92727.
  • This method allows workers to report issues to the Ministry even if they cannot visit in person, ensuring confidentiality.

Labour Complaint by Calling the Ministry of Labour Hotline:

Workers can dial the Ministry of Labor Hotline number 16008 to lodge a complaint. For concerns related to workers' accommodation conditions, call 40280660.

Labour Complaint via Email:

Another option is to send an email to the Ministry of Labor at info@mol.gov.qa.

Unified Platform for Complaints and Whistleblowers:

The Ministry has launched a Unified Platform for Complaints and Whistleblowers to assist employees in filing complaints. Through this platform, users can submit, track, and review complaints, as well as update their contact information.

To file a complaint:

  • Visit the Ministry of Labor Complaints and Whistleblower Portal.
  • Click on "Submit A Complaint (Login As Individual)".
  • Log in using your QID/Visa Number and Mobile Number.
  • Request and enter the OTP received on your mobile.

Labour Complaint via Ministry's Self-Service Kiosks:

Workers can anonymously submit complaints through the Ministry's self-service kiosks located around Qatar. These kiosks operate in various languages, allowing workers to file complaints easily. After completing a simple form, the complaint can be printed and submitted to the Labor Affairs department for resolution.

Labour Complaint at Ministry of Labour Offices:

Instead of directly approaching the Labour Court, workers can visit Ministry of Labor offices to register complaints. Offices are located in the Industrial Area and Al-Shahaniya, operating from Sunday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

To make a direct complaint:

  • Note down the company's full name and location.
  • Obtain the contact number of the company's manager or Mandoob.
  • Bring copies of your Passport and Qatar ID.
  • Fill out the e-complaint form at the Labor Department office.
  • Submit the form to the labour inspector along with any supporting documents.

Labour Complaint via Ministry Website Form:

Employees can submit complaints and suggestions through the contact form on the Ministry of Labor website.

Follow these steps:

  • Go to the Complaints Page on the Ministry of Labor Website.
  • Select the type of query.
  • Enter personal details and Qatar ID number.
