In March 2023, Saudi Arabia introduced a new policy that allows expatriate residents in GCC countries to obtain a tourist visa, regardless of their profession.
This announcement was made by the Ministry of Tourism. Expatriate residents in GCC countries can now apply through the âVisit Saudiâ platform for an electronic tourism visa, provided their residence permit is valid for at least three months.
