Japan Airlines launches daily non-stop flights between Tokyo and Doha from March 31

During a recent press conference, Ambassador of Japan to Qatar, H E Satoshi Maeda, announced that Japan Airlines will inaugurate daily direct flights between Tokyo and Doha commencing on March 31.

This new nonstop daily service, linking Tokyo (Haneda) with Doha, marks the first direct flight to the Middle East operated by a Japanese airline.

“Our national flag carrier is poised to launch daily direct flights between Tokyo and Doha starting March 31, 2024. This marks a significant milestone as the first direct flight to the Middle East region by a Japanese airline. It is anticipated to enhance tourism, economic, and cultural exchanges between the two nations. During Japan Prime Minister Fumino Kishida's visit to Qatar and meeting with Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, tourism and people-to-people exchanges were highlighted as pivotal areas of discussion,” stated Ambassador Maeda.
