The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) has announced the cancellation of all events, festivals, and exhibitions to mourn the death of the late United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan
"We apologize to our valued Katara visitors for canceling all events, festivals, and exhibitions to mourn the death of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of United Arab Emirates." said the General Manager of Katara, Professor Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti on Twitter.Â
HH the Amir also ordered the announcement of three days of mourning in the state and ordered flags lowered to half-staff. Â
