Meteorology Department Warns of Strong Wind, Poor Horizontal Visibility

The weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Tuesday will be dusty to blowing dust at places, relatively hot daytime, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of strong wind and poor horizontal visibility.

Wind inshore will be northwesterly at a speed of 4 - 24 KT, gusting to 30 KT at places at times.

Offshore, it will be northwesterly at a speed of 4 - 24 KT, gusting to 32 KT at times.

Sea state inshore will be 2 - 4 ft, rising to 5 ft at times, while offshore will be 4 - 7 ft, rising to 11 ft at times.

Visibility inshore will be 3 - 8 km / 1 km or less at places at times. Offshore, it will 4 - 9 km / 1 km or less at places at times.
