Minister of Labor Visits Art for Freedom Exhibition
HE Minister of Labor and Chairman of the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, visited the Art for Freedom exhibition, which is hosted by Msheireb Museums in cooperation with the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking.
During the visit, HE the Minister of Labor was briefed on some artworks in the exhibition, including plastic paintings and models centered on the issue of human trafficking.
The plastic paintings and models belong to more than 18 artists from Qatar and the Arab world, and they shed light on one of the most important dilemmas of the modern era, which is the issue of human trafficking in its various forms.
The organization of the Art for Freedom exhibition comes within the framework of cooperation and coordination between the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking and Msheireb Museums to set up awareness programs and activities aimed at unifying joint efforts in order to enhance awareness-raising and knowledge among various members of society, and to work on combating this global phenomenon.
