The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has officially launched the updated version of the Metrash app, introducing a more user-friendly experience with an improved interface, increased digital security, and over 100 new services. The latest version aims to streamline official procedures for residents and citizens, making it easier to complete transactions both inside and outside Qatar, anytime and anywhere.
Available for download on the App Store and Google Play, the updated Metrash now provides more than 440 services, covering various aspects such as profile management, authorizations, inquiries, security services, appointment bookings, and certificates. The app also incorporates modern digital technologies, including artificial intelligence and new payment methods like Apple Pay, ensuring faster and more secure transactions.
A Step Towards Greater Digital Transformation
In a video statement, Brig. Jassim al-Buhashim al-Sayed, Director General of Communications and Information Systems and Secretary to the Minister of Interior for Coordination and Follow-Up, emphasized the governmentās commitment to enhancing digital services. He noted that the services offered on Metrash and other digital platforms, such as the MoI website and service centers, continue to expand, with the total number of users exceeding 2 million.
He further revealed that work is already underway to develop an even more advanced version of Metrash, which will be launched in the coming months. āThis new update will bring a unique and unprecedented experience, further integrating digital services to simplify government procedures,ā he stated.

The updated Metrash app introduces a new visual identity and modern interactive interface, designed for easier navigation and quicker access to services. Several processes have been re-engineered to merge and simplify certain services, reducing steps and improving efficiency.
