The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has announced the temporary closure of United Cars Almana, a car dealership located in The Pearl, for a period of one month due to violations of consumer protection regulations.
According to the Ministry, the dealership was found in breach of Article (16) of Law No. (8) of 2008 on Consumer Protection. The infractions included failing to provide spare parts and delays in delivering after-sales services.
The administrative order, issued under Decision No. 25/2025, underscores MoCI’s commitment to safeguarding consumer rights and ensuring accountability within Qatar’s business sector.
The Ministry reiterated that it will continue to take strict measures against companies that neglect consumer interests, urging the public to report complaints or concerns through the Consumer Protection Center hotline at 16001.
