The Ministry of Municipality (MOM), represented by Al Shamal Municipality, in collaboration with the Ras Laffan Social Outreach Program, has inaugurated the "Children's Street" project in the Abu Dhalouf area of Al Shamal.
In a statement issued today, the Ministry explained that the initiative aims to provide a safe and innovative educational environment designed to develop children's skills while promoting concepts of safety and responsibility. The project reflects a broader vision of fostering a sustainable and well-balanced society.
Spanning 7,243 square meters, the project is thoughtfully designed to be child-friendly, blending education and entertainment in an interactive and engaging format. It features educational and recreational spaces that simulate real-life scenarios to help children understand traffic safety and responsible behavior in an accessible and appealing way.
The Ministry described the project as a qualitative addition to community infrastructure in the Al Shamal region. It is expected to play a key role in enhancing children's cognitive and educational development and instilling safety awareness at an early age, equipping them to become active and responsible members of society.
With this initiative, Al Shamal Municipality reaffirms its ongoing commitment to strengthening community partnerships and expanding programs and initiatives that promote a sustainable urban environment. The project reflects effective collaboration between government and private sector entities in support of the country's comprehensive development goals.
