Ministry of Municipality
Since it has been providing customers with food that is unsafe to consume, the Al Rayyan Municipality has ordered the Zain Qatar restaurant located in the Al Rayyan region's Zone 55 to shut down for the next week.
The Ministry of Municipality took the administrative decision to shut these restaurants when it was discovered that the establishments were in violation of Law No. 8 of 1990, which governs how food is controlled and handled.
The Ministry will conduct routine inspections, and if someone is found to violate the law, they will face the consequences. You may see a list of the individuals who disobeyed the rules and how long they were punished for doing so on their website.
The government has warned that if a closure notice is issued, no maintenance or repairs may be performed on a company that has been closed down. In addition, the government warned that criminal charges might be brought against anybody who disobeyed this regulation.
If you need to report any food offenses, the number to contact the centralized call center is 184.
