Qatar public bus
Since the kickoff of the AFC Asian Cup 2023 on January 12, 2024, over 1.3 million passengers have availed themselves of Qatar's public buses as of January 23, 2024.
In an announcement posted on its social media platforms, the Ministry of Transportation disclosed that "1,365,659 passengers utilized both public buses and those specifically allocated for the Asian Cup 2023 since the commencement of the tournament until Tuesday, January 23."
Earlier, Qatar Rail reported a successful ridership of 2,164,211 passengers across the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram networks from January 12 to 21, 2024.
