At just 19 years old, Al Hassan caught the eye with two crucial goals. He scored his first goal in the first game against the United Arab Emirates and then another in the third round when he came off the bench and scored in the 81st minute against Kyrgyzstan. Impressed by his performances Al Hassan was included among the 11 up coming stars from the continent and let fans to vote for the most promising player.
The list also features young talents from other nations, including Musab Al Juwayr (Saudi Arabia), Abdukodir Khusanov (Uzbekistan – now signed with Manchester City), Zion Suzuki (Japan), and Justin Hubner (Indonesia), among others.
Team Qatar has qualified for the fourth round of the World Cup qualifiers, after finishing fourth in Group A of the third round of the qualifiers.
The fourth stage will feature six teams that finished third and fourth in the third round of the Asian qualifiers, including Qatar, Iraq, Oman, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
The AFC previously selected Qatar and Saudi Arabia to host the fourth-round matches, which will be held from Oct. 8-14, 2025. The draw will take place on July 17, with the six teams divided into two groups of three, each competing in a pool format. The top team in each group will qualify directly for the 2026 World Cup.
