Qatar Airways Group Launches Premier Leadership Program for National Employees

Qatar Airways Group has launched a new leadership initiative with the aim of nurturing the next generation of national talent and cultivating a pool of future business leaders. This program places a strong emphasis on enhancing the leadership skills and capabilities of Qatari nationals by providing them with opportunities to solve real-world business challenges. The ultimate goal is to prepare them for executive roles across various sectors within the organization.

This initiative is designed to complement the Group's existing Al Darb Qatarisation program, which has been highly successful in fostering talent development within the company. Speaking about the program, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al Meer, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Developing and empowering national employees has always been a top priority for us. While our Al Darb program has been instrumental in achieving this goal, we continuously strive to innovate and elevate our efforts."

He further added, "This leadership program not only aims to provide greater support for high-performing national talent within our organization but also sets a precedent for similar initiatives that other employers in Qatar can adopt."
