Qatar Airways Holidays (QRH) is set to expand its retail footprint by increasing source markets in 2022/2023.

“Qatar Airways Holidays intends to drive greater value for customers by forging greater relationships with international hotel partners for its preferred hotel programme, alongside expanding its retail footprint by increasing source markets in 2022/2023,” said Qatar Airways Group Annual Report 2021-2022.

The report says Qatar Airways Holidays, the leisure division of Qatar Airways, has gone from strength to strength, extending its diverse portfolio of products and services from Qatar and the GCC to 43 countries across the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific.

With a powerful vision to be the world’s best airline tour operator and create stellar holiday experiences, Qatar Airways Holidays continues to successfully expand its global retail footprint in partnership with TUI Group, the world’s leading travel and tourism company.

Qatar Airways Holidays has been offering tailor-made vacations to worldwide destinations, while also being the first airline tour operator in the Middle East to reward the airline’s loyalty members with Avios for packages booked. From city breaks and beach escapes to adventure tours and exclusive honeymoons, QRH boasts a strong portfolio of more than 200,000 hotels and 10,000 tours and activities, the report revealed.

During 2021, 2022, according to the report, Qatar Airways Holidays has emerged as one of the Group’s most critical pillars with its significant and growing contribution to the company’s commercial accomplishments, generating incremental revenues of more than $13m through its international markets alone in less than a year, while garnering global recognition for its most recent launches of FIFA travel packages and Doha Stopover, alongside flight plus hotel packages.

“Its superior booking technology allows customers to conveniently add a Stopover in Doha as part of their journey, allowing them to experience Qatar’s attractions, activities and world-renowned hospitality.

Appointed by FIFA as a licensed tour operator to distribute ticket inclusive packages for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Qatar Airways Holidays has sold 1,350 packages in a few months. In addition, QRH launched its B2B in Qatar and sponsored Qatar’s first-ever travel exhibition – Qatar Travel Mart (QTM),” the report added.

In February this year, Qatar Airways Holidays (QRH) launched a multichannel campaign to showcase tailor-made holiday options to popular destinations such as the Maldives, Rwanda, Spain, and Turkey, inspiring customers to plan their next travel adventure.

Recently, Qatar Airways Holidays (QRH) introduced amazing travel packages to Bangkok and Phuket, providing incredible savings and add-ons for hassle-free vacations.
