In 2023, Qatar topped the Quality of Life Index by Numbeo with a score of 169.77, surpassing regional standards. Factors such as robust purchasing power, safety, and healthcare contributed to its high ranking. Low crime rates and quality healthcare further boosted Qatar's exceptional score.
Qatar boasts a 'very high' ranking on the Purchasing Power Index (127.79) and Safety Index (84.56), along with a 'high' position on the Health Care Index (73.13), as per Numbeo's Quality of Life Index. In contrast, its Climate Index and Pollution Index are labeled as moderate, while the Cost of Living Index, Property Price to Income Ratio, and Traffic Commute Time Index are deemed low.
Comparatively, the UAE scored 162.41, Saudi Arabia 149.43, Bahrain 144.59, and Kuwait 134.57 on Numbeo's Quality of Life Index as of December.

Consistently, Qatar retains its position as the world's 'Safest Country' in the Numbeo Crime Index for five consecutive years since 2017.
