The State of Qatar participated in the ministerial meeting on Syria, which the United States called for, on the sidelines of the Brussels VI Conference on Supporting the future of Syria and the region.
The delegation of the State of Qatar to the meeting was headed by HE Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaif.
The meeting discussed the current situation in Syria, the political process led by the United Nations, the efforts of HE the United Nations Special Envoy to Syria Geir Pedersen and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Syrian people, in addition to the developments of the Ukrainian crisis and its impact on the situation in Syria.
