The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) is preparing to host the third edition of the Qatar Real Estate Forum, set to take place from October 14 to 16 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
This year’s forum aims to reinforce investor confidence by highlighting the strength and efficiency of Qatar’s real estate system. With a focus on transparency and streamlined policies, the event will showcase how the sector supports secure and straightforward investment procedures.
A central theme of the forum will be the integration of advanced technology to enhance transparency. Through the use of digital platforms and smart tools, stakeholders will gain better access to information and operations, empowering investors to make data-driven decisions with greater ease.
The forum will also serve as a collaborative hub, bringing together key players from both the public and private sectors to address current challenges in the real estate landscape. It will facilitate dialogue, encourage strategic partnerships, and promote trust-based cooperation among stakeholders.
Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Aqarat Chairman Eng. Khalid bin Ahmed Al Obaidli emphasized the increasing role of the real estate sector in driving economic growth and diversification. He noted that the forum supports the objectives of the Third Qatar National Development Strategy 2024–2030, which is the final stage in realizing the Qatar National Vision 2030.
Al Obaidli also pointed out that the forum aligns with Aqarat’s strategic plan launched in December 2024, which seeks to position Qatar as a premier global investment hub by enhancing regulation, stimulating innovation, and promoting the real estate market as a key pillar of sustainable development.
What distinguishes the 2025 edition, he added, is its forward-looking approach—not merely building on past successes but aiming for direct and measurable impact. The event will focus on reinforcing trust, accelerating digital transformation, and building sustainable partnerships that support long-term growth.
In closing, Eng. Al Obaidli highlighted that the forum will be a vital space for stakeholders to engage in meaningful discussions, explore emerging challenges, co-create innovative solutions, and launch impactful initiatives to advance the real estate sector in Qatar.
