Qatar Signs Open Skies Air Services Agreement with the Commonwealth of Dominica

Montreal, September 24 (QNA) - The State of Qatar signed an open skies air services agreement with the Commonwealth of Dominica, on the sidelines of its participation in the 42nd General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The agreement was signed on behalf of Qatar by Acting President of the Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) Mohammed bin Faleh Al Hajri, and on behalf of the Commonwealth of Dominica by HE Minister of Tourism, International Transport, and Maritime Denise Charles Pemberton.

Under the agreement, designated carriers from both countries are permitted to operate an unlimited number of passenger and cargo flights with full transport rights, thereby enhancing cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the field of air transport.

This signing comes within the framework of the State of Qatar’s efforts to strengthen its connectivity with other countries through the signing of new air services agreements, enabling the national carrier to expand its network and reach more global destinations.
