Qatar Stock Exchange Gains 0.84 Percent This Week

Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 100.12 points (+0.84 percent) this week when the bourse closed Thursday afternoon at 12,040.68 points.

Trading value during this week accounted QR 2,187,593,632.283 and the trading volume reached 734,591,809 with 47,361 transactions.

Market capitalization accounted QR 695,484,883,790.690 as compared to QR 689,240,740,801.630 at the end of previous week.

Banking and Financial Services sector increased 61.94 points (+1.23 percent) to 5,112.51 points and Consumer Goods and Services sector gained 83.69 points (+0.96 percent) to 8,361.79 points.

Industries sector increased to 5.99 points (+0.14 percent) to 4,223.71 and the Insurance sector gained 19.37 points (+0.75 percent) to 2,616.26 points.

The Real Estate sector gained 18.55 points (+1.00 percent) to 1,870.94 points. The Telecom sector increased 21.69 points (+2.09 percent) to 1,061.49 points and Transportation sector added 1.83 points (+0.05 percent) to 3,571.04 points.

From the listed companies 30 ended this week higher, while 17 lower.
